What?
You know! A regional THATCamp.
When?
THATCampVA will be held on Friday and Saturday, April 20-21, 2012. Friday will open at 3:00 with your choice of two-hour workshops, one focusing on DIY Aerial Photography and the other on Neatline (or you can propose your own). And then on Saturday the THATCampVA unconference itself, with sessions generated by the participants, will be held 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Opportunities for social time with friends old and new will be available on Friday night, April 20, at likely establishments nearby.
Where?
Charlottesville, Virginia (at UVA Library’s Scholars’ Lab)
Who?
Organizers include digital humanities folks from the University of Virginia’s Scholars’ Lab — but this is your unconference! Anybody with energy and an interest in the humanities and/or technology should attend.
How?
Attendance is by registration, and registration is now open. It’s first-come, first-served, limited to approximately 75 attendees. Registration closes March 1, and acceptance notifications will go out no later than that same day, giving you plenty of time to make travel and hotel arrangements.

Why?
THATCamps are awesome! Your faithful organizers have been attending them, near and far, since their inception at the Center for History and New Media in 2008. We’re excited to bring THATCamp back to Central Virginia and hope to see you amid the blooming flowers in April!
